What kind of warranty do you offer?

Leather Lid Inserts offers an exclusive lifetime warranty on all parts. This covers replacement of saddlebag insert components (i.e., patented lid insert), originally manufactured or installed by Leather Lid Inserts that are defective in material or factory workmanship. Coverage applies to original owner only, effective with all Leather Lid Inserts saddlebag inserts only.

In order to get replacement saddlebag parts, mail us the defective part with a paid return slip and we’ll replace it free of charge. Note: To make the process quicker, please include the original purchase receipt when mailing us defective parts.

My saddlebags are in real bad shape. Will your inserts fit?

Leather Lid Inserts reinforcement saddlebag KITs have been known to bring bags back from the dead. If you need a peace of mind and assurance, click here and send us a picture of your bags. We’ll have one of our professional saddlebag engineers examine your bags and give you an answer.

Does Leather Lid Inserts include glue/contact cement?

Due to 9/11 we are no longer allowed to ship flammable good through our local mail carrier. We recommend using DAP / WeldWood Contact Cement FLAMMABLE TYPE, 2-3 ounce bottles with brush applicator. Contact cement can be purchase at your local hardware store, Lowes, Home Depot, etc…

How long does shipping take?

When you make a purchase online, it takes 3 business days for your order to process. Once your order has been processed, your package will be shipped out the following business day. What is your return policy?

Subject to the Leather Lid Inserts Terms of Sale, all sales on the Leather Lid Inserts Store are final. When you agree to purchase an item through Leather Lid Inserts Google Merchant Account and / or PayPal your credit card is immediately charged and the transaction cannot be cancelled. However, products can be exchanged if parts are missing, damaged or if you ordered the wrong KIT.
